Please join us for our Annual Awards and Business Meeting. Who will be the Distinguished Members and Rising Stars for 2013? What is happening in PHTD and where are we headed for 2014?
New and renewing FAN members are recognized at an early-morning breakfast and business meeting. Following the meeting, all FAN division sponsors are invited to participate in this fast-paced vendor product information session. Division attendees will visit vendor tables in small groups to discuss their institution's needs and profile, collecting prizes along the way. A business card raffle rounds out the fun!
The Legal Division's Breakfast and Business Meeting graciously sponsored by Bloomberg Law/Bloomberg BNA. The Legal Division chair will offer remarks about the state of the division, new business will be entertained, and award winners will be announced. Additionally, we will be recognizing the division's 20th anniversary and hope to introduce all of the division's past chairs.
Join division chair Amy Affelt and the LMD board for a review of the events of the past year and a look at the future. The Karen J. Switt Award will be presented.
Award recipients will be honored. All registered luncheon attendees will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card. The division will also collect donations for a local charity (donations are not mandatory for drawing eligibility).
The 2013 George Mandel Award will be presented. We will have table discussions on successes and challenges as information professionals, and will solicit input on what you would like from the section. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with your colleagues.
